Pastors are often faced with difficult challenges and hardships through ministry and sometimes they find themselves desiring to step away for a short break and seek guidance and wisdom for their spiritual journey. Through Plains of Peace, you have the opportunity to find rest, restoration, and renewal for your spiritual journey in the Oklahoma City area.

After previous conversations with inspirational mentors, local pastors, and a vision from God, Director Kelly Yates and a board have developed the Plains of Peace Pastoral Retreat Center so that pastors, either individually or with their families, can get away from their home and church and spend time in a safe and encouraging environment.

Pastors may apply to the retreat program and when accepted, he/she will receive a 4 day/3 night stay in lodging and are able to select from a sessions with a licensed therapist, a session with a spiritual director, and/or a session with a local pastor/mentor.

You are also given space and time to enjoy recreation in the Oklahoma City metro area. There are ample activities and destinations available to individuals and families and you are encouraged to step away and have some enjoyable and fun time out and about.

All expenses are paid except for your transportation to and from Bethany, Oklahoma. Funds include lodging, meals, and money for recreational activities.
